A 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga. The Sahara Desert will start from your hotel/riad in Fes. Our driver/guide will pick you up and then proceed to Merzouga, passing the most beautiful Yves Lanzhen, then stop to look at the monkeys in the cedar forests of the Azrou and Ziz valleys. On the second day, you will walk along the beautiful Todra Gorge, visit the famous Eben Haddou Castle, and then transfer to the riad/hotel in Marrakech.
3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Atlas mountains - Merzouga desert :
3 days desert tour Fes to Marrakech, The departure from the Riad/Hotel will be at 8 Am. The trip to Erg Chebbi sand dunes will last 8 hours in which we will see the Atlas Mountains and some villages (Tafilalet, Erfoud, and Rissani). We will stop in some cities like Ifrane and Azrou to enjoy the view of the cedar woods and monkeys living there. The lunch will be served in Midelt and then we will keep going through the Ziz valley with a beautiful view of the palm trees until we arrive to Erg Chebbi where we will do a camel trek to reach the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent.
Day 2: Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorges :
After breakfast, We leave the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi, an off-road drive over the hamada (black Desert) to get to the Sahara town of Rissani. Subsequently, we head north to Erfoud which is known for the fossils; here we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we proceed to the amazing Todra valley, known for rock climbing, where you can trek before we drive to Dades gorges for the Hotel, Dinner, and overnight.
Day 3: Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - the high Atlas - Marrakech :
After your breakfast at the hotel, we will begin the most recent day in our driving through the thousand kasbah road, the roses valley, a visit to Skoura oasis with its credible 17-century kasbah, a visit to ait ben Haddou kasbah (Ait Benhaddou is the World Heritage site that has been utilized as a setting for more than 20 movies incorporating “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”.), after lunch, 4 hours drive via Tizi Ntichka pass with stops along, arrive in Marrakech at 6:00 pm, and the Tour of 3 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech will end Here.
